Congratulations Diane and Francis Brannan
Diane and Francis Brannan were awarded a community award from the Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Liz Green, on 17th March 2025 at a ceremony at the Guildhall, Kingston. The awards honour individuals who devote their time to supporting communities across the borough.
For over three decades, Diane and Francis have been instrumental in the growth and success of Chessington District Residents’ Association (CDRA), Diane as secretary and treasurer and Francis as a member of the executive committee. With a steadfast dedication to engaging with and supporting residents, they have championed community concerns in Chessington around planning issues, air quality, and local services. Also, Francis and Diane have been involved with supporting a number of elderly people who have needed help and companionship. “It was a lovely surprise to receive the award” says Diane. “Both Francis and I have enjoyed working with so many lovely people in the community. It is extra special to be receiving the award in CDRA’s 50th anniversary year” adds Diane.
