Within approximately one hour on Monday 15th June 2026 all the effort, investment, endeavour, and years of contributing to our South of the Borough community by the committee and members of Chessington Cricket Club went up in smoke. CDRA visited the site the next day and met some of the committee. What remained of the clubhouse brought people to tears.
What often makes the difference is not the struggle itself, but the way we respond to it. Challenges can either leave us feeling defeated or push us to grow stronger, wiser, and more determined than before.
