The benches – one at Hook Parade and one at North Parade – were installed in November. We hope they will offer residents a lasting place to pause, reflect and connect.

We would like to thank the councillors of Hook and Chessington North – Cllr Afy Afilaka, Cllr Sue Ansari and Cllr Lorraine Dunstone – for their donation towards making this happen. Thanks too to Richard Dean, Kingston Council’s neighbourhood and communities manager, for his support with this project.

We have enjoyed showing your memories at Celebrate Chessington event in May, at our AGM in June and more recently at the Hook Centre. We hope there will be more opportunities to display them locally – watch this space. It’s not too late to submit one! Please email your memories to chessingtondra50@gmail.com
